Florida, Camagüey, January 12 – The fight against crime, corruption, and illegal activities in the municipality of Florida remains a primary objective for 2026 under the Government Program aimed at correcting distortions and re-boosting the economy, in order to minimize scourges that threaten the comprehensive development of the territory.
Although several of the aforementioned issues persist here, the summary of the previous year presented by public order authorities indicated a trend toward a reduction in overall crime within the jurisdiction, with 108 fewer cases reported than in 2024.
According to the report, this good news shows that the municipality can achieve the proposed goals in the battle against crime, indiscipline, and other problems that operate blatantly in various spheres and sectors.
To achieve this, unity, commitment, vigilance, and the will to act against violations of established laws and regulations must remain active in the locality, without neglecting the individual and collective mission of protecting private and state resources.
The main thrust should focus on preventive actions, oversight, and popular support to prevent burglary in homes and state institutions, criminal patterns that gained prominence during the previous calendar year. (Source: Radio Florida)
